William F. Parry is a senior capital-markets executive with over 30 years of experience across global credit markets, including investment-grade, high-yield, and emerging-markets debt, with a particular focus on alternative credit and structured finance. He has a long track record of originating, structuring, and executing complex transactions for institutional investors and corporate clients.
Mr. Parry is widely recognized within the litigation finance community for his expertise in the origination and placement of litigation and international arbitration claims. He has been instrumental in supporting institutional investors and corporate clients in the development of a secondary market for litigation assets. In addition, he serves as a trusted advisor to both credit investors and corporate issuers, representing clients in liability management transactions, special situations, and restructurings.
Mr. Parry most recently served as a Managing Director at Seaport Global Securities, where he built and led the firm’s Litigation Finance and Alternative Credit platform and advised institutional investors in complex special situations and dispute-driven opportunities.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Bank of America, where he led the New York investment-grade and emerging-markets credit sales business, at JPMorgan Chase as Co-Head of Emerging Markets Debt Syndicate, and at UBS, where he led Emerging Markets Debt Origination and helped expand the firm’s underwriting franchise in Latin America.
He began his career at Lazard Frères and Salomon Brothers in credit trading roles, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Mr. Parry received a B.A. in Accounting, cum laude, from Villanova University and holds an ESG Investing & Sustainability designation from Columbia University.
