Dr. Ralph Welpe is the Chairman and CEO of Mirai Capital Partners, a boutique advisory firm based in London that collaborates with some of the world’s most influential families and entrepreneurs. In addition to leading Mirai Capital Partners, he serves as a Senior Advisor and registered representative for ABG Advisory, holding FINRA Series 82 and SIE qualifications. He also serves as Senior Advisor to Linhart Group in Singapore, where he advises Asian billionaire families on succession planning and Family Office matters, guiding them through complex generational transitions and wealth management strategies.

Ralph brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including Head of Strategic Clients at Bank Julius Baer, where he oversaw the bank’s top 100 global clients. Prior to this, he established a multi-generational family office for a U.S. Fortune 500 family. He is also the co-founder of Pensavvi, a global investor community headquartered in London that unites single and multi-family offices, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital managers, entrepreneurs, and senior global executives.

During his 15-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, Ralph held senior leadership roles across Europe and Asia-Pacific. His responsibilities included managing top client relationships across all divisions, serving as Director of Regional Management in the UK, and acting as Chief of Staff for the Asia-Pacific region, where he played a key role in expanding Deutsche Bank’s regional footprint. Ralph’s career began in M&A and Corporate Finance Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank, with assignments in Singapore, Tokyo, and Frankfurt.

Ralph holds a PhD in Strategy and M&A Integration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and was a research fellow and M&A teaching assistant at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
