Nora Lee Notzon is the founder of Notzon Advisors, a private advisory firm with a global reach. Notzon has advised on over $10 billion in transactions with a focus on natural resources, special situations, start-ups, and fintech.
Prior to setting up Notzon Advisors, Nora Lee worked in global fixed income and equity trading. She last worked for Deutsche Bank, where she managed a billion-dollar plus global equity long/short portfolio.
Nora Lee started her career as a bond options trader at the Chicago Board of Trade with BNP Cooper Neff. She continued her career there as a volatility arbitrage trader, then a Nasdaq index arbitrage trader, and set up the Japanese Index arb business. She joined Lehman Brothers as a proprietary US equity trader and ultimately joined former colleagues to set up Wang Trading a high-frequency fund, which was eventually sold.
As part of her Advisory business, she went on to serve as CMO of the number one investment education app in the US - Invstr. She has served as a Board member of Rio Grande E&P in Texas, Board Member of Nexus Financial in Luxembourg, and part of the Executive Committee for Invstr.
Nora Lee is a dual US & UK citizen who has lived and worked in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Japan, China, Mexico and Latin America. She is fluent in Spanish and French.
Nora Lee graduated with Honors from Harvard University, with a concentration in Economics. She was the Harvard Ballroom Dance National Champion in both Latin Dance and American Rhythm. She is a native of Laredo, Texas, and enjoys tennis, golf, shooting, skiing, music, dance, cooking, travel, debate and politics.
