Jorge is a Managing Director at KingsRock Advisors with over 30 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, and financial institutions coverage. He focuses on the origination and execution of complex, bespoke financing and balance sheet solutions for Spanish financial institutions and selected corporates.

Prior to joining KingsRock, Jorge held senior leadership roles at Banco Santander, where he led the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Banking business in Spain. In this capacity, he managed key relationships with leading banks, insurers, and public entities, delivering tailored strategies across capital markets, regulatory capital, and funding.

His previous roles at Standard & Poor’s and leading investment banks in London—Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, and HSBC—provided him with deep experience in structuring and distributing credit and fixed income products. Given the footprint of the Santander Group and his earlier international experience, Jorge has been exposed to a broad range of transactions across Europe and Latin America.

Jorge combines a pragmatic, commercial approach with strong technical insight and a long-standing track record of trusted advisory relationships at the most senior level.

He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering and an MBA from IESE Business School. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian.
