Jana Hecker is a seasoned capital markets expert and venture investor, bringing over two decades of experience across global banking and startup ecosystems. As a Partner at Einstein Industries Ventures, she leads investments in space-enabled downstream applications and supports high-growth, frontier-technology companies emerging from Europe and beyond. 

Prior to her role at Einstein, Jana held senior leadership positions at JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and Deutsche Bank, including time as Global Head of Equity Markets at UniCredit and Chair of the Global Equity Commitments Committee. There, she played a central role in structuring and executing more than 50 equity transactions—spanning IPOs, pre-IPO financings, and spin-outs.

Jana is also an active angel investor and board member to startups and scaleups in software, fintech, data services, and healthcare. Her governance and strategic contributions help bridge capital, technology, and growth.

Academically, Jana holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Münster and an M.Sc. (Diplom-Kauffrau) in Economics from the University of Würzburg. She is also Treasurer of sdw Alumni e.V. and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Aspen Institute Germany.
