HENRY GOODMAN
MANAGING DIRECTOR
PRIVATE CREDIT / ASSET BASED FINANCE / SPECIALTY FINANCE
NEW YORK / USA
Henry Goodman is a private markets professional focused on originating, structuring, and capitalizing differentiated opportunities across the private credit landscape. He specializes in connecting institutional capital with high-quality, asset-based and specialty finance strategies, with a particular emphasis on sourcing proprietary deal flow and building scalable investment platforms.
Henry has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, spanning sales, Private Wealth management and sales management roles at Credit Suisse, RBC Capital Markets, and UBS. He previously served as a Key Account Manager at Credit Suisse, where he managed relationships with institutional clients and delivered capital markets and financing solutions across a broad range of investment products. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in client coverage, distribution, and the structuring of complex financial transactions.
He focuses on sourcing and developing investment opportunities and forming strategic partnerships with asset managers and institutional investors. His work centers on identifying less intermediated opportunities across specialty finance and asset-backed strategies, and aligning them with long- term capital. Henry plays an active role in capital raising and investor partnerships, working with private credit managers, insurance platforms, and family offices to syndicate and scale investment opportunities. His experience includes managed accounts, co-investment structures, and bespoke capital solutions tailored to the evolving needs of institutional allocators.
Throughout his career, Henry has operated at the intersection of origination, distribution, and structuring, enabling him to bridge the gap between capital providers and investment opportunities. He is particularly focused on the increasing importance of differentiated origination in private credit markets, where sourcing advantage and product innovation are key drivers of performance.
Henry is a graduate of NYU Stern School of Business and maintains extensive relationships across the alternative markets ecosystem. He holds the Series 3, 7, 63, 79, and 82 licenses, as well as the SIE.
