George Sarcevich brings over three decades of international experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and private equity. He began his career on Wall Street, spending more than ten years in investment banking with Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns, and HSBC in New York.
He later co-founded and served as CFO of IX2 Networks, a carrier-neutral data center operator in Los Angeles, where he led strategic acquisition negotiations. Expanding his focus to Southeast Europe, George served as Special Advisor to the Ministries of Finance of Serbia and Montenegro, as well as their respective privatization agencies.
An active investor and advisor in the region, he co-founded Bastion Group, a Belgrade-based financial advisory firm that was successfully acquired by KBC Securities. He also launched Eagle Ventures, a technology-focused venture capital fund dedicated to Southeast Europe. George is a former board member of the Serbian Private Equity Association.
Beyond finance, George has been deeply involved in the development of American football in Serbia. He is a former board member of the Serbian Association of American Football and twice served as Head Coach of the Serbian National Team.
He holds an A.B. from Princeton University with a concentration in War and Diplomacy.
