George has over 25 years of legal, operations, and investment experience. He is the Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Sustainable Insight Capital Management, a boutique investment manager with operations in the US, UK and Australia. SICM employs a data-driven investment process to manage public equity strategies for a variety of institutional investors.

From 2006 to 2012, George was the Managing Partner at Green Partners, an early-stage investment firm focused on renewable energy projects and companies. Green Partners was the founding investor in the largest biogas company in Europe and helped launch additional projects in waste to energy and waste heat recovery in Europe and India.

Early in his career George worked as a corporate attorney at Mayer Brown in New York and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in San Francisco. In 2003, he joined the Aventis Capital, which focused on venture investments in North American and European biopharmaceutical companies.

George holds a JD from Washington University in St. Louis, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Washington University Law Review, and a B.A. from Rutgers College.
