Antonio is currently still the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank in Spain since 2004 until July 1 2022.

CCO in Regional Management structure.  Chairs Board and Exco.  In addition to his responsibility in Spain, Mr. Rodríguez-Pina is a Member of the Deutsche Bank EMEA Executive Committee since June 2014, and Member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank S.p.A. (Italy) since April 2021.

As one of the top global investment banks, DB is also one of the leading investment banks in Spain where it also has retail banking, private wealth and asset management businesses.  With 2700 employees, Deutsche Bank is the biggest foreign bank in Spain by total revenues.

Previously, Mr. Rodríguez-Pina was CEO of Credit Suisse in Spain (1995-2004) and a member of the European Investment Banking Executive Committee (since 2000); Founder and Managing Director of Johnston Associates M&A boutique specialized in European transactions (1990-1993) and Vice President at Salomon Brothers (1987–1990).

Mr. Rodríguez-Pina has played an important role in the largest Investment Banking transactions in Spain in the last two decades, and has worked on major assignments for the Spanish Government, and the top companies and financial institutions in the country.

Outside of DB Mr. Rodríguez-Pina has been a Board Member of Grupo Lar (leading Spanish real estate company with listed subsidiary Lar España) from 2014 to June 2020.  In the non-for-profit arena, Antonio is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Nantik Lum (leading Spanish Micro-Credit NGO), Member of the Board of CODESPA, Spain's leading non-profit organization to assist developing countries, with the Honorary Chairmanship of King Philip VI, and Member of The Board of Trustees of Antonio de Nebrija University.

Antonio holds a Honors Degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF (Madrid University) where he was a part time professor of Corporate Finance in the MBA program.
