Alain Moreau is CEO of MeDirect Belgium since 2023. As a pan-European fast growing digital challenger bank, MeDirect leverages a cutting-edge proprietary technology platform enabling it to democratize investing for private customers. MeDirect Group is a systemic bank under the oversight of the European Central Bank (ECB).

Before that, Alain has held multiple senior and executive positions at Deutsche Bank over a 25 years period. Alain served between 2009 and 2019 as Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank Belgium. Between 2012 and 2016, he was responsible for the advisory business within the Private and Business Clients division in Europe and Asia and joined its Executive Committee.

Alain has also held senior roles such as Chief Investment Officer or COO in Belgium. Alain was a member of the Supervisory Board of DWS Investment GmbH between 2015 and 2019. He is also active in various NGOs.

Alain holds a Master of Engineering and a degree in Business Administration from UCLouvain (Belgium).
